This is Ta-kun as Sasori at Metrocon...first time wearing this costume...
She had such a hard time getting through doorways and tight spaces...poor Ta-kun...Even when she had taken off the costume, she was still going through doorways sideways out of habit....
But I think she makes a really good Sasori, yeah!
The wings need to be fixed up (which were already working on) but seeing as they were a last minute fix (I said cardboard wouldn't want to stay straight), I think it worked out great. Also you can't see it but she has the box with scrolls on her back too.
Ta-kun is such a great sport...when she's not complaining...or refusing to draw art....
It was rather difficult, as my initial plan to cut the peices in half and attach them to a stomach pieces didn't work. Instead each piece of tubing is a short cut segment with a light wire strung through it. Every piece is then tied seperatly around her waist and then the top shirt is placed over....there are like five plus layers to this costume....yeah
