This past week has been one of the most eventful weeks all summer (minus vacation and the pre-Metrocon week o' doom), or rather, it has been on of my most enjoyably active weeks.

To start, my friend came back from Colombia, where he has been living for a year, and is now going to go to school with me. Yay!

We all got to hang out and make him a cosplay for Yasumi which was this past weekend.

He got to meet and hang out with all of my cosplay buddies and most of Akatsuki Inc. at said Yasumicon, and he got along well so he is officially part of our group.

I had a great time at the con. There is nothing like 20 people telling you that you are amazing or "the best Deidara they've ever seen" to do wonders for your self esteem....Is that wrong?

On Saturday, we actual wrote or first skit, which I then fleshed out and typed up, and then on Sunday we partcipated in our first Cosplay contest. Best, and most shocking news of all...We WON! and not only did we win, but we won 'Best in Show'....I'm still in shock. So, Akatsuki Inc. is officially a cosplay group. Whoot, whoot!

Then all this week I get to relax because my mother is back at work and all I have to do is watch my little sister. That and read three books...actually I read one (The Great Gatsby) yesterday and now I have to finish 1984 and all of Dante's Inferno....

Not even the continual approach of school's looming shadow could put a damper on my day....

Also, the thing that got me writing this journal was not, surprisingly, any of this....It was that I got tagged by shadowsteph (if I could do that cool thing where the icon shows I would....but I can't...yeah). And I decided to actually do one of these this...so here it is for those who care and for those who don't ...yeah...

- The Livejournal community for my recent obsession, the AS/S ship…. Harry Potter of course….but come on, it’s adorable next generation slash…who can resist that. Plus the puns never end….

- Pajamas…Rolling Stones T-shirt and some sweats

10. Did you dream last night?

- Yeah, but if I sat here typing up my dream I would be here for another two hours. Lets just say it was another of my numerous somewhat post apocalyptic or rather “everything goes wrong and the future is run by evil with a underground resistance” kind of dreams where people (yes it was in a fandom….but I’ll never tell you which….)get sent from there present to this future where they don’t exist but there friends and family do. It was mainly focused on the “friends and family” who are primarily secondary characters. I love minor characters….but..yeah…It was really cool…not very original, but cool. And as it turned out, it was the “eople’s” fault, both directly and indirectly, for the takeover of evil because they disappeared when it first showed up, which is when they got sucked into the time warp, and it’s all rather difficult to explain….I need to get off my ass and write fan fiction…’cause it was ten times more detailed then this….yeah…

- Yesterday when I read a post by our Sasuke about the unfortunate attack of fan girls he received after our skit (in which he did somewhat of a strip tease …yeah..don‘t ask)…oor Sasuke…

- A White dry erase board filled with scribbles, some cityscape pieces, and…that’s about it…fascinating, I know…

- I spent all weekend at an anime convention….yes, I saw some weird things….

- Um…crap…I feel guilty about this just typing it, but it would probably be making it mandatory for all immigrates to know or learn enough english to get through basic everyday life….It’s just been grating on my nerves recently….every past immigration of peoples has done it, why shouldn’t they? …Damn, I feel horrible writing that…

- “Don’t worry, I also find them all very annoying and pushy” (when talking about his holier than thou, in your face, we have to get angry about everything remotely against our principles even though we are ‘supposed’ to be a religion of forgiveness and acceptance as we preach to everyone, kind of Christians.
